CHAOGA... wachina wanasema kunywa maji baridi si kuzuri kunagandisha damu pia madhara kwenye utumbo hivyo wao wanakunywa maji yaliyo joto au yana umoto.
Scientists wanasema kwamba maji baridi ile tu yakishaingia kooni yanakutana na joto kubwa ndani litokalo tumboni na ndani ya mwili hivyo yaanzapo shuka tumboni ubaridi unapozwa na joto kwa kasi. Na ku-replace joto hilo la tumboni, matumbo yana burn calories nyingi kitu ambacho kina faida kwako mnywaji. Na maji tunywayo hayafyonzwi moja kwa moja kuingia kwenye damu (blood vessels) bali hukaa tumboni huku yakifyonza taratibu kuingia kwenye blood vessels na muda huo yanakuwa ni ya joto, na kiasi cha maji hayo tunakitoa kwa njia ya mkojo.
Kitu wanachosema scientists ni kwamba baadhi ya watu, maji baridi yanaposhuka kooni kuingia tumboni yaweza sababisha kilungulila kinachotokana na mvuke maji yanapopoa kwa kasi.
